The place where he was born

Hey World of Models family, I´m Caio Vaz, 16 years old, living in Rio de Janeiro and I love my city. There are such cool places to have a real good time here (especially, the beach!). I enjoy Surfing, Skating, Stand up Paddle and meeting my friends. My first acting experience was in the soap opera "Três Irmãs" by Globo network and my character was a teen surfer.

The model Caio Vaz: Shooting with photographer Mario Testino

One day I was at my mother´s restaurant Paprika Doce here in Rio when Sergio Mattos, the director of 40º Models, asked me to talk to my mother. He gave her his phone number and invited us to go to his agency. Then I travelled and when I came back, he called me and invited me again to come to his agency for a photo shooting session. I wasn´t sure about the shooting. Well, guess what, it was a shooting for French Vogue with female model Marcelle Bittar and the photographer was Mario Testino. It was a cool experience.

I admire their creativity and professionalism. Besides Mario Testino, I really enjoy working with Hammid, Murilo Meireilles, Michael Roberts and Vicente de Paulo. I did a shooting during a daybreak in Ipanema´s beach. A terrific moment yeahh yeahh!

I´ve already been into Rio and São Paulo fashion weeks. I was a 12 year old guy when I first took my first steps in the runways. It was for Blue Man. The fashion designer and owner Daniel Azulay designed an exclusive bermuda shorts for me because I was too young and there wasn´t any size for my age that time. Then it came the runways for Marcelo Sommer and Cavalera where I had the privilege to open this runway show.But then it came a law stating that the underage people wouldn´t be in the runways. Definitelly, I want to be back to runways someday. It´s sooooo cooooooolllllll!
