Hello guys, I'm Damyana Guimarães, I´m 19 years old and I was born in a really small city from Parana - Brazil. My interests are to keep modeling and go to college next year. I decided to be model when I was 15. A good friend of mine enrolled me on a model course and meanwhile I did some casting calls and then I got a signed contract with a modeling agency. A month later, I started travelling. My first test shooting was so good, of course I was really nervous but the photographer was cool and he gave some precious hints on how to pose to the cam.The best thing about modeling is to able to travel to so many places around the world, meet some unique cultures and learn about them. In every new place, a new adventure, you never know how it´s gonna be.

The photographer and a little help for the rescue!

I like to work with a photographer when he/she inspires me to do my best. I don't have any preparation before posing. Sometimes the client shows some pics of magazines and they say ( "I wanna do like this) so I try to do some poses, not the
same as it showed in the magazine, but the way the client want. Unusual moments? Well one day I was wearing party dress and had to climb up a tree. It was easy to do that, so I stood up on a branch and made the pics. But the problem was: I could not come down, the photographer said to me: "Jump jump, I´ll catch you up" I wasn´t in a not so good position (it gave me cramps), but in the end the photographer climbed on the tree and helped me out. And most important: the dress din't get messed up. It was real funny.

Catwalks, backstages and the fashionista?

I love the fashion shows. One of these unusual experiences was in a runway show. I was wearing a huge dress and model behind me stepped on so I fell on the ground. I was real nervous but nowadays I think it was a good experience. Escada and Laure were 2 fashion designers that I´ve already worked for in Germany

I'm not really a fashionista but I like to wear converse, jeans and cool t shirts.

Imagine you are a übber model. Audience gets wild when they discover you are among them. How do you handle it?
I never ever imagined it, maybe I would talk to them... I don't know, I never thought about it
Human Rights/Sexual Behavior: This is a difficult question, everyone has a opinion many of them are good but nobody does anything to change. Nowadays we have many laws (i wonder if they really work!), we have free of speech, but whe need to express ourselves in a more emphatic way. When we think about sexual behavior, there´s an important issue to comes to my mind: the teenargers that become mom with only 11 years old! It´s really sad when we see that they didn´t have any parental guidance during their childhood!
Show Business/Success: Behind all the glits, there´s always a story to be told, and success for me is to do what you really love to do and and feel accomplished for that
Dating X Love: I'm not jealous I think I' m easy going
Sports: I love football, and volleyball
Her way to atract someone´s attention: I don't know, maybe try to talk something interesting
Having fun, places she goes and enjoy the best of life: Going out with my boyfriend and friends to dance, and play with my little sister, travel and eat ice cream
The craziest (nastiest?) thing she´s ever done in a summer time season: I don't remember a good one
Fav food:I love sushi, indian, italian and mexican food and a special soup that just my grandma can prepare for me
