Hello World of Modells, my name is Dilson Stein, a brazilian scouter and I was born in Horizontina, located in Brazil´s south region. I live here wirh my wife and two children but I can’t spend much time at home because of my conventions all around Brazil, so when I’m there, I love to be with my family.

As a matter of fact, I started my career into the fashion world as a model when I was 21 years old. I grabed this opportunity and it really took me to the fashion business. I noticed that I could teach many girls how to be a model. In the beginning I started it only in the Brazil´s south region. The girls were very beautiful and the models agencies started to look for me in order to introduce these girls into the fashion market

A star is born: the übermodel Gisele Bündchen!

When Gisele Bündchen turned 13, her mother contacted me and asked my help to correct her posture. Gisele was really tall for her age and was getting hump. When I saw her, I recognized right away that the girl had a tremendous potential and also a beautiful and charismatic girl. So, we started working together and the rest is history! Certainly there are many talented girls in Brazil. I believe Gisele will have a successor. She has the ideal body type for the runway, and,like I told you before, charisma, professionalism and talent. The Gisele´s sucessor might have the ideal body type like her. The height is essential, the thinness in the right measure, Beauty, Personal charisma without any affectation

The fashion world: full of good stuff and nice opportunities

The fashion world is full of good stuff and nice opportunities to improve the career as a recognized model and also for the personal life. The only thing is that the models have to adopt a professional attitude. They need to focus on improving more and more as a model if they really want to be succesfull in this business. I see a lot of young boys and girls when they go in their first trip abroad, they begin to be dazzled by a false glamour and you guys know how it will end. The model market needs new faces all the time and Brazil have a lot of beautiful faces ready to begin in the fashion business. Concerning the worldwide economic crisis, for sure it does exist, but it doesn’t affect my work as a scouter

The Key of Success and his important tips for guys/girls interested to be a model

The key of the success is to be responsible, to be punctual, polite, kind and always trying to adapt to the client´s needs and also to listen to agent´s advices. Read a lot about the fashion world, the model agency and the scouter that will represent you. Models need to be in a good shape, beautiful skin hair and nice teeth. Also they have to make plans for their career. They must know where they really want to be in the following ten years, they need to have a little bit ambitiom, otherwise they will get lost pretty soon. Gisele Bündchen’s father asked the agents to make her a career plan before she starts her work as a model in the agency. After this, he decided that she could continue, but always looking forward. And now look at her!

Modeling is a profession like any other. A professional atitude today for a comfortable and a glamorous life in the future. Focus, Responsbility, Hard work, Patience, `Professionalism. Don´t you ever forget about these words guys!

The Projects

I keep travelling all around Brazil looking for people who have talent and wish to become a model. In the end of July (30,31) and August 1st, my Model Convention will take place in São Paulo and I hope to recruit a lot of new models! On the next month, I’ll be launching my make up brand "Stein Make Up". Stay tuned!
