"A successful model will always remember, looks are like library books we have them on a temporary loan basis, they are not ours to keep forever and will be in the hands of the next generation after us"

Hello World of Models family, my name is Dominique Ciupek, I´m mother of two amazing daughters and I own Arrigo Models ltd as well as Arrigo Events and Arrigo ltd. My personal interests include spending time with my family, playing piano, dancing and socialising with friends, I grew up in Stenson Fields, Derby and moved to somercotes when I met my husband five years ago. I was inspired to start Arrigo models, and Arrigo Events through my love of fashion, beauty and music. I wanted to combine them to bring them together to entertain the world through Arrigo Events and bring the fantastic Arrigo models to the front line. Arrigo Models covers a wide range of models, right from promotional staff to high fashion. We can supply models and promotional staff for every and any event and We are constantly looking for
new models and will be launching our new London setup in the near future Arrigo Models and anyone involved with Arrigo ltd, in anyway are very close we all work to help each other out. My models keep me going and that’s the same with the photographers, and stylists who are also represented by Arrigo .......Arrigo is a family

The fashion world, according Dominique

The fashion world is glamorous, of course, that’s what this whole industry is based on, however, behind the scenes of the fashion world is not so glamorous, freezing cold photo shoots, hours of designing, dedication from models, and everyone else is essential. It’s a critical jungle out there and you better not step into it wearing the wrong heels or they will hunt you, and take you down in seconds!! The market for the new generation of models is wide open, with high street brands now running with the petite ranges and society calling for the “real size” models. More doors have been opened into the industry, and with personal networking sites making our personal information so easy to access majority of the new generation of models are uploading them sleeve’s onto model sites and are alot easier to find. We have even seen well established television model competitions running with below industry standard height models too. Fashion gives us the individuality, and choice to be different, it’s our choice, and our free will, no rules no limits

IN and OUT in fashion industry

IN

Well, for Summer 2010 the high waist is still going to be very prominent and the chunky heels will be essential, boy shorts, high waist, hot pants, and knee high ,and even knee over socks to be a storm. It is said to be that: military will twist with tribal and give us the warrior look!! Said to be the look of confidence,

OUT

Not alot to be honest leggings are still in, and long cardigans are “acceptable” so no big worries for the immediate future really, just heavy branded lines causing a bit of controversy with way to much going on

Upsides and downsides of a modeling career

In my opinion the upsides to modeling is of course the traveling the world, learning new culture being a part of the fashion industry and the ride is alot of fun if you play the game and keep safe it will fill your life with fun and happiness

The down side to modelling is that is does not last forever and is usually a one way love affair which is why models must stay grounded and ensure they keep up with education especially if starting an early modeling career too

Worldwide economic crisis affected the fashion world?

As in any other industry the economic crisis has been present, however with consumers having spending cuts and the recession being spoon fed to us through the media, it only encourages us girls to go out and spend whatever we have left in our purses quite happy in the comfort of knowing that we can clutch our jimmy choos at a later date tightly and fall asleep knowing that economic crisis or not we made it! There is alot of controversy surrounding the economics of the fashion world be it the construction of the garments and the environments they are manufactured in or even the people making them, however with higher demand for tfp shoots for models have had a good year of experience and been able
to build up fantastic ports giving them a full tool box ready to go out this summer and good luck to you all guys!!

The key of the success: tips to be well succeceeded in the fashion industry

I have worked with a huge variety of models from no experience up to models who have been working for our most well known respected high fashion names opening the runways in Milan. All Arrigo models are very special to me and are treated as equals. I’m very proud of them doing their first TF shoot or if they land a huge campaign. A successful model will always remember, looks are like library books we have them on a temporary loan basis, they are not ours to keep forever and will be in the hands of the next generation after us. So have a great time and make them remember you!! Stay grounded or you will watch your life float away. The key to success is to never believe the person stood next to you can’t do it better than you can, don’t be a loser by thinking you’ve already won. Please stay safe and never attend a shoot alone with someone you have never met in person before
