January 04, 2010 Eduardo Gil, the young guy pursuing his career into the Performing Arts by Edward with Eduardo |
He is one of the characters of Disney Channel series "As the bell rings Brazil", the host of "Disney Cup Brazil" and also got a cool experience in theater and in the brazilian soap operas. Ladies and gentlemen (and THE FANS YEAHH YEAHH!), there comes the 24 year-old-guy Eduardo Gil!
´ve been into Performing Arts since I was a little child. Acting and Singing, that´s my passion. I started acting when I was 10, I did lots of courses in this field here in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. I worked and produced several plays and it helped me a lot to be able to get into Tv´s world too. My first TV audition was in 2006 at Globo TV (a brazilian network) for Malhação (teen brazilian soap opera) and some months later, they invited me to be in the cast as the character Breno.Meanwhile I was invited to be in another soap opera called "Pé na Jaca" and I started new work (this time a play for children) and also taking dancing classes. Then, there comes Disney Channel, where I am one of the characters of Disney Channel series "As the bell rings Brazil" and also I´m the host of "Disney Cup Brazil. Eduardo by himself Fans and the Show Business Industry: I really enjoy having the feedback from the audiences, the fans. And it´s amazing that simple actions that I usually do in my daily activities means a lot for the fans that follow my career. I feel grateful for that. Concerning Show business, I think that we must have 'feet on the ground', focus and be ready cause I´m sure that the opportunities will come to your way. Modeling x Acting: Both careers that can be working together. When I was younger, I used to be invited for runways in my hometown. The casting calls took place in my mother agency Special Talents / 40º Models http://www.specialtalents.com.br/. I like modeling a lot, but my acting career comes first. A fashionista?: I love the basic jeans, walk shorts and t shirts with few prints and hue color. I´m not a fashionista Beauty X Professionalism: Beauty is a "double-edged sword". It really helps you a lot for a modeling career, but sometimes
closes doors for an acting career. Sometimes I have to face the prejudice against me just because I´m "a pretty face" so I
have to work more that the others just to prove them that I`m able and capable to do my best.
