Photographer Fábio Pamplona: Image worth a thousand words. Just see the sunset to understand what I really mean

The brazilian photographer and his projects

Hello Edward and the World of Models family, thanks for having me in your site. I was born in a small country town of Rio de Janeiro and when I was 17 I started shooting friends and some parents too. My dad taught me how to use  my very first cam and since then I´ve been a watcher, the guy that see the world through the lens of a cam and always trying to create images that turn into ideas. What it really inspires me is the pleasure that I do my job and the constantly search for improving my style better and better, studying and creating in my daily activity of a professional photographer. I don´t know how to define my style but I can see influences from what I have learned from the seventh art.

I´ve been working for fashion editorials and advertisement pics in northeast of Brasil and shooting models from this region too,. This place got a terrific diversity of people. I´m also in a exposition called Paris D´Amour, with pics taken in this lovely city. It´s my homage for the Year of France in Brasil.

The digital era and the world economic crisis on photography

Certainly, the digital era had a tremendous impact on photography.  The photographer got more tools to work for thanks to the evolution of new image manipulation softwares, approaching photography to the painting art and allowing to the photographer more possibilities to create new images.

When you face a economic crisis like we are living now, you must advertise much more in order to have a reasanable selling. The fashion photography is responsible for introducing to the world the modeling business and also to increase the desire of consumption of several industries like, for example, the textile, clothing, cosmetics and so on. The world economic crisis is a real challenge for the fashion photographers because in situations like that, only the most talented ones will be selected for a job

Special moments happens like a wave

Sometimes special moments happens like a wave that comes in and you are ready to take it. All of sudden, the light is perfect, the make up looks great and the models give  their Best, creating a character for the shooting. And then comes flashs and more flashs until you reach the perfect pcture. It´s one of those moments where the ideas and sensations turned so real and strong. It´s just like lve at first sight.
My job is always focused to help people increasing their lives or careers. The photographer reveals the beauties that were hidden in some people. The coolest thing about it is that a photoshooting works like a therapy and in the end the model turned to know better about oneself. And a funny aspect about backstages is when I show some pics to the models and they get surprised. Pics with them coughing, making grimaces or showing a scaring face.

Downton in Rio de Janeiro near Lapa´s district because of the bohemian´s style and its cultural aspect
Niterói´s hem because of the awesome view and its Atlantic Forest. This place   reminds us the very early images of the native people done by the artists that came to Brasil after meeting the portuguese navigators

The passion for the photography
My actual and future project is to learn and experience more and more. A very special moment in my career was when I went to Europe last year and instead of taking a break from photography, I just started shooting all the time, everywhere. It showed to myself my unique vision as a professional photographer and, of course, I got more charmed by the beauties of the world. Guys. I love photography!
