Hello World of Models family! I started the career when I was in college, my original major was Digital Media, which was graphic design. I took a photography class there and fell in love with it, I felt I could make it into a career. :-D I kept networking on different networking websites and also in person and kept practicing my skill learning from other photographers. My main influences: Annie Liebovitz - she is amazing! She has gorgeous work and she continues to shoot no matter what. Also, Britney Spears has been a huge role model for me, she still keeps dancing and singing no matter what because that is what she loves. I don't know how to define my style, I guess you could say I just like to capture beauty! The digital era and the World economic crisis The digital era helped the photographers concerning aspects like quality and tecnology I don't think I could have had the patience back in the day when there was NO Photoshop! World economic impact on fashion photography? I think it will eventually pick up - the economy WILL get better!!!!!
Special moments, special models perfect pictures and funny backstage´s moments It happens at almost every shoot I do, haha. It is a high that I honestly cannot explain when a beautiful image is created. Both myself and the subject just share the joy! I LOVE knowing that I´ve been helping the models in their careers. It makes me so happy. I definitely cannot get that feeling behind a desk job! Funny/unusual backstage´s moments? Hmmm, my camera had stopped working while I was shooting so the model and I drove all the way to the camera store and I attempted to buy a new camera! Also - I fell over a cord one time - so embarrassing. Top 5 cool favorite places for a shooting 1. My studio (lots of space and cool props)
IMAGE worh A THOUSAND WORDS?
Yes, I have been told my kiwi image does that, LOL
Current projects and unforgettable moments Just a lot of model testing and various musician projects here and there. Lots of headshots! I LOVE working with male models more than females for some off reason, I loved working with Vince Azzopardi, Tommy Cupples, Justin Wade, and a few others here and there. I would have to say shooting Janice Dickinson was an amazing turning point for me, she was incredible to work with and it really launched my career! When I was shooting her, she saw a photo I just shot and she jumped on top of me and said "Jenn I love you and your lighting"! Places Jenn goes for fun: Movies, Iowa (visit my friends), Disneyland, beach |
