Thanks so much and I'm happy to be a part of the World of Models family! I was born and raised in Orlando, FL where I currently still live, but was able to get out for 4 years where I attended Florida State University and received my BS in Graphic Design. I have a great passion for art and photography which geared me towards modeling. I believe you are what you make yourself and I always try to create a fun-loving and positive vibe for where I am and who I am with. I love themed parties where I can let my imagination run wild (80s theme is one of my personal favorites). I have always imagined a bigger and better future and know that when I put my mind to something I can achieve anything
Arts, Photography and Modeling I dabbled in modeling in college and walked a couple of runways for various fashion shows, but I have always had the appreciation for art and photography and modeling has always interested me. My first shoot was with a friend of mine Cory Pittman who has great talent and an eye for the camera. After my shoot my girlfriend told me about a website called modelmayhem.com and thought I should join it and post my photos. I soon found myself booking jobs and being asked to attend Miami Rock Fashion Week. This experience and being able to be up close and personal with the fashion industry made me want to take my modeling to the next level. I owe a lot of my knowledge and training of modeling to the AJR Imaging family (read AJR interview here)
AJ and his crew helped me realize the talent I had and working alongside his other models was an amazing experience where I built great relationships and connections. The best thing about modeling for me is the energy to transform yourself into becoming something totally new and exciting and the adrenalin you get when seeing the finished product. (It's like Christmas morning and seeing the presents under the tree). I also love meeting new and interesting people and modeling allows you to do so. Working with photographers: Comradery and connection What I like most when I work with a photographer is the comradery and connection you can make with them and their camera. Before a photoshoot with Jonny Rosenbloom once, we watched a clip of American Psycho to get the feel of my character as Christian Bale. I also like to talk with the photographers and get a feel of the type of person they are and how our personalities will mesh. I am very easy to get along with and love to have a good time in front of the camera and that's what I look for when I work with someone.A good attitude, good fun, and good person all around who has something unique to their style of work
John by himself The catwalks: I love the energy both nervous and exciting that you get during them. While you are getting ready or changing outfits so much goes through your head and then as soon as I step foot on the runway I become immediately focused and have a "I look damn good in these clothes and I'm going to sell them to every single person in the audience attitude," you have to. You have to have confidence and think nothing can bring you down, and it won't
Imagine u a famous model surrounded by a huge crowd. How you´d handle it?: If this situation were to ever happen I think I would probablly laugh at first and look around for the "famous" person everyone else was looking for.haha. I would of course be courteous to my "fans" and handle the situation just as myself and show them that I'm a normal person
Fame, Success, Show biz and 5 most important things for his life: Fame is a state of mind. You can be celebrity among any stature. It's like if I were to watch MTV and thought "Oh wow, those people are so famous I want to live their life." How do we know that someone doesn't idolize your own life sometimes and "wishes they could be there or doing that." I believe you can control your own "fame" because I have met a number of famous people and some are the most down-to-earth individuals you could ever meet. Always remember where you come from and don't be anybody you are not. The five most important things in my life are my family/relationship, friends, happiness, success, and probablly my camera that captures it all. haha The Projects One of my upcoming projects that I am very excited about is that I will be working with Dana France (who has an unbelievable photography style) in shooting a cover to a romance novel that is being published by Penguin Books. Watch out Fabio haha! Motto: "Live life forward, and understand it backwards."
