An unforgettable moment: "Shooting wearing only underwear in the snow"
OY OY SAVILOYS, my name is Lee Taylor I´m a country lad from Cirencester England. I was very blessed to be brought up in the countryside as there was always something to do and got into a high level of sports at an early age. My main sports were Football (soccer), Boxing not the best of sports in conjunction to my work, but great fitness and discipline and then tennis on a recreational level. I love going to the movies, good food, and chilling out with friends. I´m not much of a dancing type of person, I´m more of a bar person rather than a club/ raver. Enjoy all genres of music just depends on my mood and where I am at the time! I never wanted to be a model I guess it was just at the right place, right time. I was at the Birmingham NEC with friends and there was a big fashion event on at the time. I was queuing for a sandwich in a Subway shop and a Storm model booker approached me, took Polaroids and my contact details. it was rock n roll after that. I was quite lucky as my first shoot wasn’t a test, it was a campaign called Jack Wills (English Brand). The shoot was on location in Sweden. I didn’t really have a clue what I was doing but I think if you’re thrown in at the deep end you’re forced to learn fast!!! I think the best thing I’ve took from modeling is the people: models, photographers, stylists etc. Every person I’ve met has a story of their own to tell, whether that’s how they broke into the industry or the experiences they’ve had, which brings wisdom. The best things to me in life are not things, but experiences and the challenges I overcome.
"Adaptation is the key to a good picture and shoot" The thing I like most with photographers is working with different ones every time. Every photographer has their own preference of doing things, this can be how they take a picture, the lighting on a shoot, whether it’s the style of the location to shoot or a basic studio etc. With this as a model you gain a wider range of understanding of how to adapt to a photographers preference and how to build a positive relationship between you and the photographer, you can create a better picture through this, adaptation is the key to a good picture and shoot. Lee, the fashionista? Throw me a pair of Levi jeans and a plain white T and i'm happy! I don’t really think about what I wear if i’m honest, but have always been told that you should never wear more than three colors with an outfit!!! Schoolboy error!!! It is essential as a model to have a basic understanding of fashion because if you are to rock up to casting wearing pink lycras and a bobble hat (probably be fashionable in a few months) this may hinder your chance of booking the job. Its key to have an understanding of the style of brand you are casting for, if you show initiative to the client and give them more of a visual understanding of how you could look working for them, then it could determine whether you are successful in the casting or not.
Lee by himself Fans: I don’t think I have fans??? I don’t see myself as a movie star or anything like that, but I am very grateful for the support I get from people of Facebook and Myspace. A big Thank you to you all for the support Upcoming Projects
