Singing and modeling: That´s Leo´s world

Hello World of Models family, I´m Leonardo Corredor and I was born in the in Arkansas (USA) and after some years my family and I moved to Venezuela where I grew up in a small town called Merida. When I turned 13 I just moved alone to Caracas where all this history began. I never thought about modeling before. When I was 13, I joined a Band called Salserin 13, then I did some acting and hosting jobs. My experience as a singer during my school years had a tremendous impact on my life to everything that I am now, I was really young so I lived many things before being an adult, and nowadays I´m really focused in my goals without caring so much about things that normally are really important for guys of my age. Family for me is the only thing that you really have in the life that is truly yours. In 2007 I won the 2007 Best model of Venezuela Contest and started working as a model in Venezuela and then I moved to Miami. My first shooting took place when I was 16 in my family´s house with a photographer buddy of mine (I still have some of those pictures) and, guess what, my favorite hobby is photography.

Asia, photographers and the preparations

I´ve just come from Asia when I stayed during 6 months for some cool modeling campaigns. The best thing about modeling is to be able to meet such different and unique cultures around the Globe. I just like to work with photographers who know how to make the model real comfortable on cam, finding the best angles for a shooting and discuss the ideas with the models too. My preparation before posing to the cam is related to diets, going to the gym every single day, jump and running sometimes, and obviously the basic things about gym, like for example, don’t eat carbohydrates after the afternoon.

The catwalks and his main purposes in the modeling industry

Actually my high is not the best for Catwalks haha, im just 5’11 so I even don’t go so much to fashion show castings but even with this inconvenient I´ve been in Fashion week Hong kong, Philippines, Venezuela and some shows in Miami. Designers that I´ve worked with including Leenas Mirbagheri La Carte Blanche, Giovanni Scuttaro, Octavio Vázquez, 5CM, Raenrra, Mayela Camacho, Gabriela Chacon, Regatta, and Alex Baldino, just to name a few. I hope to can make that list bigger once I´ll go to The places that I haven’t been vefore, like New York and Milan that im planning to visit next year after the Miami season. I´ve just started in the international modeling market and I´m the guy that always look for more and more good opportunities. There are so many designers that I´d like to work with, and definitelly D&G is one of them because of their campaign concepts and also because Steven Klein is my favorite photographer. I´d also ike to work for brands like Cavalli, Burberry, Ed hardy, Armani, Lacoste. Not bad huh? HAHA.

II don’t think I´m a fashionista, but I always like to look as a model and it is also related to my mood. There are some days I get bored so easy so I gotta change my wearing style

His way to atract someone´s attention: I´m not the good guy for these things. I try looking at the people but sometimes I think I go really deep in this kind of aproaching o they don’t know if I´m trying to attract them or Im really upset haha. Hmmm, better if the people come to meet me
Leo´s way to have fun, the places he usually goes and his way to enjoy the best of life: I´m a easy guy to have fun. I just need the people I love around me. I also have real good time in my room, and if I wanna go out I usually go to the beach or to Universal studios haha I love rollercoasters!
The fans: Since the moment I´ve started this career I realized that they are the inspiration that gonna make you try to do your best in every step, and also try to be better like a human being. Everyone makes mistakes but those people are my inspiration to grow up in every single moment of my life
An unforgettable moment: The day I left my family´s hometown

Upcoming projects

After 6 months in Asia I´m heading home in Miami to meet y girlfriend, go to my family´s house and then getting ready for the next modeling season. There are so many places that I wanna visit and I also like to get the license of Massage Therapist and study some more about photography.
