My name is Ovy Anghel and I am from Romania but currently live in MIAMI, FL.While growing up in Romania until i was 20 I had a chance to see the world by working on a cruise ship. I took the opportunity, I went to Asia- Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand working as a casino dealer. It was definitely a life time experience that changed me a lot and made me more mature. So I enjoyed traveling, seeing new places and meeting people from all over the world so for almost six years. I kept going back working on cruise ships... casino, restaurant, jewelry gift shops. That's how i end up seeing Europe, Asia, Americas and Caribbean and having so many amazing experiences.While working and traveling on cruise ships, I always had my dream on my mind, being, or at least try to become a successful model. I remember as a kid watching fashion shows and commercials, reading different magazines and admiring the models,getting to love more and more that life style.

So, I had the opportunity in August 2006 to come to US, still not doing full time what I wanted, working at a private business club in Savannah, GA, but trying my best to follow my forever dream. It was not easy being in a small city and
trying to become a big model But hard work and perseverance can get you anywhere. So I managed to work with some amazing people in the industry, made great friends. So now i am working as a full time model, living and enjoying the year round sunny days of beautiful Florida.I am trying to travel as much as I can, Miami, NY, Europe, Asia and anywhere I can find people from the industry that would like to work with me. I have done few campaigns and I have worked with some great people, made good friends. It's been a crazy year, almost making a full circle of the planet. I left Miami summer of 2008 and went to Europe, moved to New York in October 2008, travel to Hong Kong for a contract with Elite from December 2008 to February 2009, come back to NYC and move to Miami in March 2009. Travel is what makes me happy.

Photographers, Preparations and Catwalks

When being in front of the camera the most important thing is to feel comfortable and the photographer has a big influence in that matter. No special preparation, just try to look fresh and rested. Trying to go to the gym whenever I have time, stay healthy. No diet, I don't need that. I need to eat a lot and that´s what all my friends are telling me. HAHA
There are also many wonderful people who encouraged and helped me become what I am today and i will never have enough gratitude for what they did for me. Just to name a few, Luis Rafael, Kemuel Valdez, Alex and Scott from AJR Imaging, Chris Lanston, Natasha Kertes and the list can go on and on. They all rock
A funny story from a shoot.I had to have glued on my face small pieces from a intimate lingerie. They were custom cut and make me look like a scheleton. That was a very special connection between me and the photographer. We were laughing so hard (right Natasha?.

I love doing fashion shows because there are so many people involved, so many friends you can make, so many stories you can tell. I've worked with a lot of fashion designers, i respect every single one of them because of their creativity and passion for what they are doing. One story from a fashion show I did in Atlanta. I was the only white model in the entire show and when I was doing my catwalk the person who was presenting the show kept saying "..and here we have Tom Cruise as special appearance". That was so funny and it made it a great night. I love my black friends. HAHA.

The fashion world: "If you can dream, dream big. If you can dream it, you can do it"

The opportunities are endless. There is always so much more a model can do so I can never limit myself. Tom Ford, Trussardi, D&G, CK are just few of the most amazing campaigns. I would love to do a Dolce& Gabanna campaign it's been one of my favorite brands, as well as campaigns for Trussardi, Armani, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Levis etc. If you can dream, dream big. If you can dream it, you can do it.

The fashionista? Fashion is not an easy thing. HAHA. So i am not trying to give myself to much headache and try to make it simple. I like to wear casual clothes, jeans and fitted shirts and T-shirts. Everything that is an european style. But for special ocasions I love to dress up, that's when I feel special and feel the fashion

The craziest (nastiest?) thing you´ve ever done in a summer time season: Sex on the nude beach with a special girl but a weird guy who thought we were swingers kept following us trying to get his share of fun. It was very funny
Fav food: If it tastes good, eat it, but it has to look good as well. I love a plate that is nicely set. But give me a nice steak and I will be happy. Love sushi too. I never eat a lot. If I even eat, so I have to be pushed to eat. I absolutely need a girlfriend that knows how to cook. HAHA.
Fav singer and which music he hears in his IPOD: I love rock music and i love Metallica. They are the first rock band I started to listen too. But I like most kinds of music. On iTunes I always listen to ambient/chill music because it relaxes me.
Fav underwear for his daily activities and for those coooooool sexy moments (LOL): The one that keeps your "business" in place. LOL. In Europe we don't wear a saggy underwear so a fitted one is the one I feel most comfortable with. For the cooooool sexy moments, if I anticipate one why would I wear anything? Never make it too complicated. lol
